Tripadvisor portal with 40 million passenger opinions, gives a very good grade to Salou, the capital of the Costa Dorada, just behind Disneyland and Palma.

Travellers’Choice annual awards are the only award given by the website critical of the world’s largest travel based on the opinions of millions of real travelers.
The next June 5th, 2011, will be held a new edition of the Extreme Man Triathlon Salou Costa Dorada.
Swimming
Llevant beach of Salou, which will host the start and finish of the triathlon, has very large areas of fine sand that will undoubtedly allow a spectacular image of the mass exodus. The course will have two laps with a roughly triangular plot and many visual references.
Cycling
The course will be mostly closed to traffic with regulated traffic in the open parts and will consist of a single turn of 180 km. The option of seeking a single spin will cause the participant to live a very positive experience during this tour. The different sections, ports and villages make this 180 km sector a very enjoyable one despite its demanding requirements.
Walking
The run is going to be on a 10.5 km circuit that will be given 4 turns. Almost half of the section is flat, while the rest have small slopes with one of them 200m somewhat harder but with spectacular views over the coast of Tarragona and the Ebro delta
The circuit will have a length of 1.5 km to be passed round the main shopping street and with more animation of Salou and the runner will be clothed at all times by the public.
The final meters will have an unbeatable setting on the waterfront to the central square where the target is located.
